Kind Minds is a community, school and home-based service in South Australia that focusses on supporting the emotional and social wellbeing of children and young people. At Kind Minds we accept and respect all brains, all forms of connection and all learning styles. We are passionate about supporting children and young people to be their authentic selves while building meaningful skills to live a fulfilled life.
About
Caitlin from Kind Minds holds a Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Psychological Science degree, with 6+ years of experience providing therapeutic support to neurodivergent children, young people and their families.
Caitlin uses a neurodivergent affirming, trauma informed and strengths-based approach to enhance social and emotional wellbeing. Caitlin believes that strong relationships and collaboration are central to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. Her approach is built around working in partnership with the individual, their family, school and other networks.

Kind Minds provides support and services for school aged children and young people (from reception to year 12). We are experienced in supporting neurodivergent individuals and have a strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Anxiety and Trauma. However, an individual does not require a diagnosis to access our services.
We provide NDIS services to individuals who have plan managed or self-managed funding. We also offer services to individuals who are self-funding/ paying privately.

Kind Minds is a mobile service, providing support in the home, school or community setting. We can also offer appointments via Telehealth.
Kind Minds is currently based in the inner-southern suburbs of Adelaide, but as a mobile service we provide support in a number of regions. Please get in touch to find out if you are in an area we can service.

Each session is individualised for the child/ young person using a lived experience and evidence informed approach. Sessions can vary from 1:1 support, group support or support within the classroom. We implement a range of strategies depending on the child/ young person’s needs and preferences, this can include visual supports, regular movement/ sensory breaks, focussing on strengths and interests and creating a safe environment to maximise outcomes.
